In a flutter of feathers, sparkles, and lace, resortwear company Oséree, best known for its swimwear consisting of paillettes, Lurex, and latex, has ventured into lingerie, partywear, and accessories.

The label’s cofounder Jannine Vinci and Isabella Cavallin noted that the expansion was a logical reaction to client demand.

“We adapted our styling to that of our clients. All year long, our women wear our swimsuits, for example, a one-piece with jeans or a bikini with a blazer, she said.

The Flirt, the brand’s newest collection, stays true to its swimwear roots with sheer, body-con lace dresses, tops, and skirts; mesh bodysuits and blouses adorned with feather plumes; and bejeweled jumpsuits and corsets.

The 1970s, the 1990s, and earlier decades were a major source of inspiration for us, according to Vinci.

“The sensuality and allure of iconic women like supermodels Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, and Yasmeen Ghauri,” she continued.

The owners of the brand stated that their business was evenly split between swimwear and resortwear and that their best markets were the United States and the United Kingdom, with stockists including the Webster Hotel in Miami and Harrods in London.

“Our online clients, like Mytheresa and Net-a-Porter, also work very well with us,” added Cavallin.

The label was the idea of Cavallin and Vinci, two Italian-born designers who became friends while residing next to one another while attending university.

“We both grew up near the water. For instance, growing up in Sicily, we mostly wore our swimsuits. As a result of our shared love of the water and our education, starting a business came naturally to us, according to Vinci.
