ENGLAND — With the opening of its very own talent agency, The Face Represents, The Face magazine, which is produced by Wasted Talent, is pursuing revenue diversification.

In March 2021, The Face Represents launched Accelerator, an internal TikTok talent agency, with the goal of fostering a larger range of new and established talents in the fashion, music, and creative industries.

The Face’s head of talent, Cal McRae, claimed in an interview with OZIFOX that the company expanded its services because it “wanted to form an agency that can create just as much work IRL as it does in a URL.”

“When it became clear that brands could no longer ignore TikTok’s significance, Accelerator was established. We employed it as a strategy to assist companies appear on the platform naturally by utilizing skills other than your ‘typical’ TikTokers,” he said.

According to McRae, The Face Represents functions more like “a network of peers” than just another influencer agency.

“We want to collaborate with companies to find talent for them, both on and off the roster, who will later claim, ‘We worked with them first.’ Our artist services will also be a distinctive aspect of the company, giving artists the chance to collaborate and develop with the group that has helped The Face become the global icon it is today, the executive continued.

The organization’s launch roster includes a variety of artists, including filmmakers, game developers, radio personalities, designers, collectives, and even a production company.
