Following his untimely death on Saturday, celebrities from all around the world are paying their respects to Matthew Perry.
According to law enforcement officials and the Los Angeles Times, the actor, best known for his role as Chandler Bing on Friends, was discovered dead in a jacuzzi at his Los Angeles home yesterday afternoon. 54 was his age.
Maggie Wheeler, who portrayed Janice, Matthew’s previous romantic interest, on Friends, posted on Instagram, saying, “What a loss.” “Matt Perry, the world will miss you. Your too brief life will live on in the happiness you offered to so many. Every creative moment we had makes me feel so very blessed. ❥️
His mother on the programme, Morgan Fairchild, expressed her sorrow on his sudden passing, saying, “It is shocking to lose such a talented young actor. Love and condolences go out to his friends and family, particularly to his father, John Bennett Perry, with whom I had the pleasure of working on Flamingo Road and Falcon Crest. #MatthewRIP”
“I’m so sad to hear about Matthew Perry’s passing,” Rumer Willis wrote. When I was little, I used to watch him and my dad perform Whole 9 and Whole 10 Yards while I was on the set. He was really nice, humorous, and sweet to my sisters and me. I think his physical humour and that movie still make me laugh a lot. I know he faced many obstacles in life, but his humour made a lot of people laugh. I hope he is able to rest in peace.”

Adele honoured Matthew at a gig yesterday night as well. “I’ll always remember that character,” she remarked, alluding to his well-known role from Friends. “He’s probably the best comedic character of all time.” Matthew was also commended by Adele for being “so open with his struggles with addiction and sobriety,” which she described as “incredibly, so brave.”
Melissa Rivers, on the other hand, said: “Today, a high school classmate passed away. Such sorrow. Too soon gone. “RIP ????.”

Other than the cast members of Friends, Perry’s admirers and past co-stars have expressed their respects to the late actor, whose credits go all the way back to 1979. Say Anything actress Ione Skye shared a throwback photo of Perry and a snapshot of a recent text exchange, adding, “My last exchange a week ago.” Perry and Skye starred together in 1988’s A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. I’m incredibly depressed. I adored this man.
In the October 15th correspondence, Perry wrote: “Hey! I hope everything is good. As I was meditating—I do meditate now—”In Your Eyes” began to play. And I realised right away how lovely you are,” the song Say Anything alludesd to.
“Awe,” was her response. I adore that. “Xo,” he replied, “I hope you’re well and happy.”
