Fear of God and Birkenstock have created a shoe together.

The slide attempts to unite the German tradition of the footwear company with the ability of the clothes company to create one-of-a-kind, classic designs. The shoe, known as the Los Feliz, has a dramatic monolithic strap clasp, a deep heel cup, and an outsole with rough edges for a simple look.

The Fear of God creator Jerry Lorenzo stated in a statement, “We’re constantly trying to develop a product that’s anchored in utility and need, that is preceded by a distinct aesthetic point of view. The peculiar hillside enclaves of the Los Angeles neighborhood’s moniker served as inspiration for the namesake for the final

product, the Los Feliz sandal. Los Feliz was constructed by combining Birkenstock’s recognizable shapes and the smooth, heightened flow that characterizes Fear of God’s design language.

The special projects and partnerships division of the shoe company, Birkenstock 1774, worked on the project’s development. Both adults and kids may buy the shoe, which comes in two distinct top materials: calf suede and wool felt. This marks the debut of a children’s Birkenstock 1774 collaboration shoe. Taylour Paige-Angulo, an actress, is shown in the collection’s advertising photos.

“We are excited to work with Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God to create a remarkably adaptable line of fine workmanship. The Los Feliz sandal is a stylish and practical statement of the intentionality and inclusion that both businesses hold dear. In a news statement, Birkenstock CEO Oliver Reichert said, “We continue to promote creativity with like-minded visionaries by merging the Birkenstock footbed and single strap design with Fear of God’s distinctive and sophisticated look.
