Despite not becoming the newest spokesperson for Dior, Meghan Markle has some modeling background. Following the official denial of rumors of a partnership with the French label, a vintage movie film of Markle has gone viral online.

The Duchess of Sussex is not in discussions with Dior, a WWD reported on Tuesday. She has not signed a contract, according to a corporate official, and no discussions are currently underway.

Dior denies contract discussions with Meghan Markle

The in question movie clip, in which Markle can be seen posing for a fragrance advertisement, is from the 2015 movie “Anti-Social.” In the critically acclaimed criminal thriller, Markle costarred with Gregg Sulkin (of “Runaways” fame). In the now-viral clip, Markle poses for a French photographer while donning a lacy red dress.

The video was submitted to a Reddit community three days ago, and since then, it has received hundreds of comments and almost 500 upvotes, indicating the post’s popularity.

However, Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, are continuing to create material as part of their $100 million Netflix contract even though there isn’t a Dior agreement on the table right now. In 2020, the pair initially started working with the streamer. Their Netflix schedule has thus far mostly consisted of documentaries, but the agreement also covers scripted programs and children’s content.

In 2022, the movie “Harry & Meghan,” which detailed the couple’s romance and subsequent separation from the royal family, was released.

“Live to Lead,” a documentary series featuring trailblazing leaders like Gloria Steinem, Greta Thunberg, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, was also executive produced by Meghan and Harry.

“Heart of Invictus,” the couple’s subsequent endeavor, will premiere in 2023. The forthcoming program focuses on athletes competing in the Invictus Games, which Prince Harry established in 2014. The yearly international sporting competition features injured service members.

The release of “Heart of Invictus” is reportedly planned for this summer, however, there is no set date for it.
