At the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards 2023 on Sunday, red carpet standout Florence Pugh joined celebrities including Cate Blanchett and Michelle Yeoh wearing a crimson dress by Robert Wun. For her work in Sebastian Delio’s film “The Wonder,” the “Don’t Worry, Darling” actress won the prize for Best British/Irish Actress.
Pugh selected a Robert Wun outfit for the occasion from the designer’s first couture line, which was recently shown in Paris on January 27. The dress had a strapless neckline and a peplum shape, which was completed with pleats at the back.

Pugh had a crimson lip and manicure. Pugh’s hair was fashioned in a retro-inspired manner by hairdresser Hyungsun Ju with a side part and a dramatic wave across the forehead.
The garment was designed for the runway in Paris, but the actor added drama by pairing the outfit with a red hat and matching floor-grazing tulle veil. Tiffany & Co. stacked gold necklaces and bracelets completed her ensemble.

The inaugural couture line by the London-based designer was called and inspired by “Fear.” The designer said onstage in Paris that he wanted to “transform [them] into beauty” by translating his fashion anxieties, such as any accidents that could occur while working on the collection in the atelier. The end product was an array of exquisite coat dresses and gowns that displayed the ANDAM Grand Prix winner’s exceptional versatility and dexterity.
Wun has already worked with A-list celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Lizzo, Cardi B, Celine Dion, and more in addition to Pugh.
